IBM DB2

Adding IBM DB2 as data source​

  1. From the left navigation panel, click Lakehouse and then click Data Sources.

  2. From the upper right corner of the page, click the + New Database button to start the process of adding a new database.

  3. In the New Data Source page, click the IBM DB2 icon.

  4. Specify the following details to add IBM DB2. Once you have connected a data source, the system immediately fetches its schema. After this schema retrieval process is complete you can browse and interact with the tables and data.

    Connection NameEnter a unique name for the connection.
    Database NameSpecify the name of the existing database you want to connect to.
    Host NameSpecify the host address of the database server.
    PortSpecify the port number of the database server.
    Username / PasswordProvide the credentials for the account.
    PropertiesSpecify additional settings by entering key/value pairs. Each pair represents a unique property and its value.

  5. Click Submit.
